United Way of Northeastern Minnesota's United for Veterans Program is proud to share the Veterans Connections program to improve overall wellbeing while building community for veterans and service members in northeastern Minnesota!

When: January 22nd at 10:00 am
Where: Giants Ridge (6329 Wynne Creek Drive, Biwabik MN 55708)
Details: Local veterans and service members are invited to bring their families for snow tubing at Giants Ridge. Must be at least 5 years old and 42" tall. Families can plan to arrive at 9:30 am and tubing from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with lunch and hot beverages to follow.

When: February 24-24, 2023
Where: Grand Ely Lodge (400 North Pioneer Road, Ely MN East Drive, Ely MN 55731)
Details: Local veterans and service members are invited to bring their families for a weekend of winter fun!
Register: Minimal fees cover the cost of two nights' lodging, meals, speakers, indoor and outdoor activities. Learn more HERE.
When: June 10th
Where: Hibbing Raceway (1799 East 33rd Street, Hibbing MN 55746)
Details: Local veterans, service members, and National Guard members will receive free admission to the races. Family members pay regular admission rates and children 12 & under are free.
Registration: Veterans and service member can RSVP HERE to receive a free wristband, meal coupon, and entry into raffles.
When: Tuesday, September 26th at 4:30 PM
Where: Hibbing Rifle and Trap Club (3946 Marksmanship Center Rd., Hibbing MN 55746)
Details: Local veterans and service members are invited to free target shooting at the Hibbing Rifle/Pistol Club. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own firearm and ammunition. Spectators are welcome!
