United Way of Northeastern Minnesota (UWNEMN) is expanding its Smiles United program to address the growing need for dental care in the region and is proud to announce the establishment of the Northeast Minnesota Dental Task Force.

A new Wilder Research report commissioned by United Way of Northeastern Minnesota (UWNEMN) has identified both assets and opportunities to better support young people in our community.

Access to childcare in Chisholm and Ely is soon increasing, thanks to a united effort on the federal, state, county, and local level.

What’s your “why”? Why do you invest both time and through monetary donations to UWNEMN? 

I support our community programs because they really help people in times of need. This is my home, and I have been in tough times before myself. I want to see these programs grow and help others in their pursuit of wellbeing.

Beyond the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, this is also a time to reflect on the year with thankfulness, gratitude, and a spirit of giving back to those in need.
