This project brings veterans together to design and build a barrel sauna. Once completed, the sauna will be auctioned off to support local veterans' programming.
Veterans who live or work in UWNEMN's service area are eligible to apply.
We welcome veterans of all branches and experience levels; professional building experience is not required - just a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and safely use tools and equipment.
Applications are due January 15, 2026. Applying does not guarantee participation; depending on interest level, UWNEMN may need to create a small group for efficiency. We will contact applicants about their participation January 22, 2026, and building will begin in February 2026.
