Step Into School | United Way of Northeastern Minnesota

Thank you for your interest in Step Into School, a partnership between United Way of Northeastern Minnesota, Backus Community Center, and Ronnings.

Applications are due July 21, 2025. Selected participants will be contacted by August 1, 2025.

To qualify:
• Students must be K-12 and enrolled in a Koochiching County school or homeschooled within Koochiching County with proof of residency for the 2025-2026 school year.
• Households must be under the ALICE (Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed) guidelines.

Disclaimer: If your household income exceeds the listed eligibility limits, but you are experiencing an extenuating circumstance, you are still welcome to submit an application for review. All applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
