Talia joined the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota (UWNEMN) team part-time in October 2022 and then transitioned into full-time in April of 2023. Talia is born and raised on the Iron Range in Hibbing. She received two Bachelor's Degrees in Marketing and Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth. After working in the Twin Cities in marketing and events positions, Talia completed her Master of Business Administration from St. Cloud State University. Talia and her husband then moved back North to start their lives together at Side Lake. After running a family business for nine years, she made the transition to nonprofit work. "I first got involved with UWNEMN as a Lunch Buddy mentor and Buddy Backpacks volunteer. I was completely inspired with their work and dedication to bettering our communities," she said. "I am thrilled with the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team that is constantly finding opportunities to serve our region." In her spare time, Talia enjoys spending quality time with her family at the lake and getting involved with her kids' activities through the schools, sports, and local events.
