Ride The Range

Ride the Range 2011 was a success!
Despite a gloomy forecast, riders arrived to show their support to the United Way. We raised a total of $14,624, a 28% increase over last year!
In the morning, a group of volunteers enjoyed supporting the United Way by riding in the Land of the Loon parade.
Proceeds this year will go to support the United Way Buddy Backpack program which will be implemented in schools this fall.
Children most at risk will recieve a backpack filled with nutritious, child friendly, non-perishable food each Friday as they head home from school for the weekend.
The program provides critical nutrition that allows children to be nourished and ready to learn after a weekend benefit.
